How are the Paladin’s skins received? Those scrolling through the Diablo 4 subreddit regularly encounter threads about the appearance of the new class. Many players showcase their Paladins with free transmogs there and receive a lot of encouragement.
The skins from the shop are often considered too flashy and over-the-top, writes doom6vi6 on Reddit. User Braelind humorously comments: “I like it when my characters look like real fighters, not like Marvel superheroes.”

What is criticized about the skins in the shop?
- Many players find the skins not only too flashy but especially too expensive. Coinciding with the Paladin release, there are several new sets for the class, each costing 2,800 platinum, or about 25 Euros. For this, you usually get an armor set, two weapon skins, and a paint job.
- Generally, the pricing of the shop in Diablo 4 has always been criticized. Even before the release in June 2023, the first look at the in-game shop caused discontent, as many considered the prices absurdly high.
- Also, in February 2024, Blizzard received much criticism due to another skin package. Although the set offered access to five different portal skins in various colors, these were each tied to a specific class.
