In Diablo 4, there are numerous aspects you can enhance your builds with. The “Aspect of Disobedience” is one of the best defensive aspects. Where to get it and how to equip it can be found at MeinMMO.
Where do I get the “Aspect of Disobedience”? You get the aspect in the Halls of the Damned, a dungeon in Kehjistan. The dungeon is located east of the waypoint “Tarsarak”. In Season 3, which started on January 23rd, you can also reach the dungeon via the new waypoint “The Gateway”.
Just run out of the Gateway and south to the entrance of the Halls of the Damned. In the area, you will primarily encounter scorpions.
In the dungeon, you will mainly encounter ghosts and skeletons. To obtain the aspect, you must complete a quest, defeat the boss, and successfully finish the dungeon.
How to obtain the “Aspect of Disobedience”
What do I need to do to get the aspect? Once you enter the Halls of the Damned, the quest “Destroy the Idol of the Overseer and the Sea Goddess” appears on the right. You must navigate through the dungeon, go through 2 portals into smaller areas, and destroy 2 idols there.
After that, the door to the boss of the dungeon, the Grave Lord, opens. Once you defeat the boss, the dungeon is considered complete, and you have unlocked the Aspect of Disobedience, which you will find in your Codex.
To maximize XP from the fights, you should activate potions. If you tend to forget them regularly, here is a trick:
Increased armor through damage makes the aspect strong
What makes the “Aspect of Disobedience” so strong? The aspect is one of the strongest defensive aspects because it increases your armor for 4 seconds as soon as you deal any kind of damage. Depending on how the aspect is “rolled”, it grants you an increase in armor of 0.6% – 1.1% and is stackable from 36% to 66%.
This means that the damage you inflict on enemies in those 4 seconds is stacked and increases your armor. You can see this in your inventory during combat as your armor value occasionally drops and rises.

How do I equip the “Aspect of Disobedience”? Once you have unlocked the aspect, you can equip it at the Occultist under “Inscribe Aspect” from your Codex of Power. You can use the following items for that:
- Headgear
- Chest armor
- Leg armor
- Shield
- Amulet
You can also randomly obtain the aspect through legendary gear from chests and as drops from enemies. The aspect can then be extracted at the Occultist and also applied to items. A good source for lots of loot are the new “Vaults”, which are part of the content in Season 3 of Diablo 4.
There, different things are required than just particularly strong meta-builds, but you will be rewarded with really good loot at the end: Diablo 4: For particularly good loot in Season 3, even oneshot builds won’t help you anymore.
