The Godslayer Crown belongs to the Uniques that can be worn by any class in Diablo 4. How you can best farm it and what makes it so powerful can be found on MeinMMO.
Since Season 2 in Diablo 4, it is possible to defeat certain bosses to obtain Uniques. The Echo of Duriel was also added in Season 2 and is again the boss in Season 3, who can drop the coveted Uber-Uniques.
You can also get the Godslayer Crown from Uber-Duriel – a strong Unique that can be equipped by all classes and can be very useful for many builds.
In the fight against Duriel, a resistance to poison is especially useful. If you often forget your potions, we have a trick for you:
Targeted Farming at Uber-Duriel
How can I farm the Godslayer Crown? With a lot of luck, you can get the Unique from world bosses, legion events, or during the Hell Flood. However, to be able to farm the Unique in a targeted way, you essentially need to run multiple bosses to collect materials with which you can summon Uber-Duriel at World Tier 4 in Diablo 4.
You need the following materials per run at Duriel:
- 2x Shard of Torment from the boss “Grigoire” in the dungeon “Hall of Atonement” at World Tier 4
- 2x Slimey Egg from the boss “Varshan” in the dungeon “Malicious Den” at World Tier 4
For Grigoire, you need “Living Steel,” which you can find in chests during the Hell Flood. For Varshan, you need 4 body parts at World Tier 4 (1 each of Gurgling Head, Blackened Femur, Shaking Hand, Malicious Heart).

A Strong Choice for Builds with Crowd Control Effects
What makes the Godslayer Crown so strong? Especially for builds that work with crowd control effects, the headgear is very suitable, as the duration of control loss effects is increased.
Additionally, nearby enemies are drawn in when your CC effects apply to elite enemies or when you deal damage to bosses. On the drawn-in enemies, you then also deal increased damage for 3 seconds (multiplicative).
In short: The Godslayer Crown increases your damage, the crowd control duration, your maximum health, and reduces the cooldowns of your abilities.
For example, the Pulverize Druid benefits from the high damage potential, but so do the Ball Lightning Sorceress and other sorcerer builds, which rely heavily on freezing as a crowd control effect.
If you are still looking for a suitable build for the endgame, you can find the two mentioned, as well as other strong builds, in our Tier List for Season 3 of Diablo 4. There, you will also find a description of what the build is capable of and what makes it so good.
