In Diablo 4, the glyphs on the Paragon board play an important role for all builds. Here on MeinMMO, you will learn how to level them up the fastest and where to find them.
What do I need glyphs for? By reaching level 60, you unlock your Paragon board in Diablo 4. From then on, you will no longer receive additional skill points, but points to distribute on the board. You can collect a total of 300 Paragon points to use them on Paragon boards and further improve your character.
Each board of the Paragon board has a socket where you can place a glyph. Glyphs provide certain bonuses that you optimize by leveling them up – the maximum level is 100. There are magical, rare, and legendary glyphs.
Where do I get glyphs? Once you reach level 60, any activity can drop glyphs. However, you have the best chances in the Pit and in Nightmare Dungeons. Other farming spots are chests from the Whispering Tree and the bosses at torment levels. How to level your glyphs the fastest
How do I level glyphs? You level your glyphs exclusively in Nightmare Dungeons. Once you have completed a run, a kind of orb will pop up around you, where an “Awakened Glyph Stone” is located. If you interact with it, you can select a glyph that you want to level up.
This works based on tries. You receive 3 tries to upgrade a glyph. If your character does not die during the run, you receive 1 additional try. Depending on the difficulty level of the dungeon and the level difference between the glyph and the dungeon level, the chance of a successful upgrade increases. If the difference is greater than 20, the glyph receives an additional upgrade (via maxroll.gg).
The amount of XP you earn in Nightmare Dungeons depends on the level of the dungeon. The higher the level, the more XP you will earn for your glyphs at the end.
Tips to level glyphs as quickly as possible:
- Try a few Nightmare Dungeon runs on the torment levels and stay at the level where you can reach the end the fastest. If you have to fight for a long time, it’s better to choose a lower level.
- While higher dungeon levels give you more glyph XP, it’s not useful if you take longer to clear the mobs. Adjust your equipment as needed.
- Mark a “favorite city” to teleport there quickly. Use the merchants in the city to break down or sell your loot in between. Then head directly to the next dungeon.
- If you have the opportunity, go through the Nightmare Dungeons in groups. To reach the next level and ultimately the boss, you often have to kill many monsters or complete specific tasks, which you can share among yourselves. Tip: In the Nightmare Dungeons in Nahantu, your only task is usually “Explore the area and defeat the boss”.
In Diablo 4, not only was the level and loot system adjusted, but also the hell floods and experience points. Leveling is currently faster than ever before.
