In Diablo 4, you can extract aspects from various items, use them in other items, and even improve them. However, some players do not know how to do this. We will show you how to extract, insert, and improve aspects.
How to extract aspects: To extract aspects in Diablo 4, you need to go to the Occultist. This is one of the craftsmen in various towns of Sanctuary who deals with occult things. You can find the location of an Occultist by its symbol. It is an upside-down triangle.
Once you have found the Occultist, you speak to him and then switch to the second tab named “Extract Aspect”. Now you can place any legendary item in the open field and see, in the aspect preview, which aspect you will receive. Additionally, a gold amount will be charged for the services.
If you are satisfied with the aspect and want to extract it, you just need to confirm the trade. Note that after your deal, your legendary item will be destroyed. So choose wisely which item you want to free from its aspect.

How do I improve aspects? If you want to improve your aspects, you first need to go to the blacksmith with your old gear and level it up. Note that only values of aspects that have fixed values are improved. Percentage values cannot be increased and should not be considered.
When you are at the blacksmith, you just need to level up the item, but only as far as you can no longer notice any increase in your aspect.
What should I pay attention to? Extracting aspects from legendary items can be worthwhile if the values have a high score, but if this is not the case, you should rather access the Codex of Power.
Some of these aspects that every player can earn through dungeons are worthwhile and also offer useful functions in one build or another, which otherwise would only be obtained after hours of farming and much luck.
