Splendid Sparks are used in Diablo 4 to craft Mythic Uniques. Where to get them and what you can do with them, you will find out here at MeinMMO.
Season 3 brought “Mythic Unique Crafting” into the game. This means that you have been able to create them yourself in Diablo 4 using the new resource, “Splendid Sparks,” since then.
How do I craft “Splendid Sparks”? To create “Splendid Sparks,” you need to disassemble Mythic Uniques. This will yield one spark for each disassembled Mythic Unique. You can find the new crafting material in the overview under “Recycling” – this way you always know how many sparks you have collected.
They will also appear there if you do not own any:
To craft a Mythic Unique, you need two “Splendid Sparks.” This requires that you have collected two Mythic Uniques to disassemble. After disassembling, the sparks appear in your materials.
Outside of that, you receive one spark when you defeat Uber Lilith for the first time in a new season – or in another realm.

How do I craft Mythic Uniques? To craft Mythic Uniques, you have two options:
- You craft a random Mythic Unique at the blacksmith from two Splendid Sparks and 50,000,000 gold.
- You craft a specific Mythic Unique at the jeweler from two Splendid Sparks, runes, and 5,000 gold.
At the blacksmith, you select the “Forge Equipment” tab. There you can craft a mythical, unique chest. At the jeweler, you can select a specific Mythic Unique in the “Rune Crafting” tab. For each Mythic, you need 6 specific runes. Details about the affixes the items will have are not visible before crafting.
Depending on which class you play, you will only see the Mythics that you can equip yourself. With the Spiritborn, new Uniques have been introduced to the game, including the new mythical weapon “Nesekem, the Herald.” MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus was able to play the Spiritborn before the release.

Where else can I get Mythic Uniques? With a lot of luck, you can get Mythic Uniques from activities like the Under City of Kurast or the Hell Hordes. The “tormented” bosses from torment level 1 also have an increased chance to drop Mythic Uniques and are therefore a suitable way to farm Mythics specifically.
