Uniques are essential in Diablo 4 for many builds and can completely change the playstyle of various skills. In our overview, you will learn which Uniques are available in Season 9 and what they can do.
In the endgame of Diablo 4, there are many ways to have fun in activities and find new equipment for your character. Uniques, or unique items, are particularly strong items that can optimize and significantly enhance a build.
To give you an overview, we have compiled a list of all Uniques. The table of contents will bring you to the desired overview:
Diablo 4: Uniques – What is that?
What are Uniques? You can recognize Uniques by the dark golden color, which differs from the orange of Legendaries and the purple of Mythic Uniques. There are Uniques that can be used by any class, but also class-specific ones. Uniques have abilities that can define entire endgame builds.
The items have the following peculiarities:
- Fixed affixes: The affixes of unique items are always the same, but the values of the affixes can vary. With the Crafting system “Vollendung” you can improve affixes.
- Unusual affixes: The affixes can be something that is normally not part of this type of equipment. For example, a unique helmet might grant a bonus to movement speed, an affix that normally only boots have.
- Own, unique ability: Uniques have fixed aspects that only this item can have. For the Occultist, these aspects cannot be extracted or replaced.
- The tiers: Uniques come in normal and empowered. Empowered items, or ancestral items, have larger affixes that are 1.5 times stronger.
- Unique appearance: All Uniques have a specific look. If you disassemble them, in some cases you receive a transmog and can make other items look like that.
Where to find specific Uniques, you will find out here:
All Uniques at a glance
Below, we first list the Uniques that can equip all six classes and then the items that are for specific classes. You will also learn which affixes and aspects the weapons have.
Keep in mind that the Spiritborn class is part of the new expansion Vessel of Hatred and you will only have access to it if you own an edition of the DLC. In our overview, you can see which content you can play in Diablo 4 without owning Vessel of Hatred – and for which content you need the DLC.
