What’s going on in Diablo 3? For a few days now, the new Season 28 with a new season theme and some balance changes has been running. The Monk has received significant adjustments to his abilities. Furthermore, Demon Hunters have received a substantial buff to the GoD set.
Even before the start of the chapter, we asked you which class you would play. Here we evaluate your results.
Who is your favorite class?
This is how you voted: We launched the poll for you a few days ago and so far, 1,200 people have voted (as of February 26 at 08:30 AM). The result is quite clear for one class: Your favorite class is by far the Demon Hunter.
- Demon Hunter with 440 votes – Corresponds to ~ 37%
- Wizard with 209 votes – Corresponds to ~ 17%
- Necromancer with 137 votes – Corresponds to ~ 11%
- Barbarian with 136 votes – Corresponds to ~ 11%
- Monk with 131 votes – Corresponds to ~ 11%
- Witch Doctor with 91 votes – Corresponds to ~ 8%
- Crusader with 56 votes – Corresponds to ~ 5%
What stands out: The choice of the Demon Hunter leads the poll results by a wide margin. The buffs received shortly before the season start may also play a role. Because the GoD set now grants a bonus of 27,500% more damage to primary skills instead of just 15,000%. Since the set is also the starter set from Haedrig, one can start solidly in the Greater Rifts. Such a comfortable start could be an incentive for some players to get started with the DH.
Just behind, in 2nd place, is the Wizard. A glance at the tier list of Season 28 quickly shows that this class offers a lot of potential in the Greater Nephalem Rifts. With the various sets, there are diverse play styles with Hydras or a rain of meteors. Wizards are quick and also well-regarded in groups.
Who has lost? The Crusader is at the bottom of the voting. Closely followed by the Witch Doctor. Not surprisingly, as this trend has already been seen for many seasons. In S24, S25, S26, and S27, the two also landed in the last places.
In between, when new sets were introduced for them, they gained popularity. But the other classes are simply more appealing to you.
