Diablo 3: Finding the Tome of Set Portals – Here’s How to Easily Obtain the 4 Pages

For the Altar of Rites, you shall obtain 4 pages from the Codex of the Set Portals in Diablo 3. We will show you how to easily get the pages.

What kind of task is this? In Diablo 3, the Altar of Rites is a significant topic. There, you unlock all sorts of enhancements. However, to obtain the buffs, you need to bring materials for payment.

After you should insert an ancient hellfire amulet into the altar, the new requirement is 4 pages from the Codex of Set Portals for your class. This works quite simply.

Here you will find the Codex of Set Portals

Where is the location? To find the Codex, teleport yourself in Act I to the waypoint Courtyard of Leoric’s Estate. Then head directly northwest into the portal to the Royal Quarters. Then go up the right staircase, along the corridor, and from there, as soon as possible, always head north.

This will automatically land you in the library where you will discover the Codex on a stand in the northeast.

Obtain 4 Pages

This is what you should do: Now that you have found the Codex, you can interact with it. Provided you are wearing a set that has a set portal. For example, Demon Hunters with the Gear of Terror cannot do this.

If you interact with the Codex while having a 6-piece bonus from your set active (it also works with fewer pieces and the Ring of Royal Grandeur), the Codex will drop a page. Do this with all four sets of your class.

You can either go directly to the Codex with all sets in your bag (and one equipped). Or you teleport back to town at the Codex, equip a different set there, activate the 6-piece bonus, and then re-enter your own portal. Each set drops a different page.

Obtaining the pages should now be no problem. If you have incomplete sets and cannot obtain pages for them yet: Think of Kanai’s Cube. If you have two of the same pieces from a set, you can transmute the set pieces at the Cube and, with some luck, you will obtain a piece that you still need.
