In Destiny, today, on October 18th, it is the weekly reset. New tasks and artifacts are available.
There is a lot happening today in Bungie’s MMO shooter. On one hand, the weekly reset is at 11 AM. On the other hand, an update will be deployed for PS4 and Xbox One at around 7 PM, which increases the light level to 400 and prepares everything for the heroic mode of “Wrath of the Machine”. This is actually the third highlight of the day: The heroic mode of the new raid starts at 11 PM. Bungie has once again declared a race for the “World First” status.
The complete patch notes for update 2.4.1 are not yet available. We will report on them as soon as they are known. You can find the current information about update 2.4.1 here.
Note: Since the light level of the Guardians and the light level of the loot for some activities will not be increased until this evening around 7 PM, we recommend waiting to complete these tasks until then. If you are still far from the current maximum of 385, you can also complete the tasks worry-free right after the weekly reset.
Nightfall on October 18th on PS4 and Xbox One
This week you have to face the Shield Brothers in the Nightfall. Modifiers are:
- Epic
- Solar Flare
- Juggler: No ammo deliveries for the equipped weapon.
- Grounded: You take more damage while in the air.
- Catapult: The grenade recharge speed is significantly increased.
In the heroic SIVA strike playlist, the modifiers are Heroic, Void Flare, Sidearms, and Fresh Troops.
The “Iron Lord” artifacts this week
If you fly to the Iron Temple, Tyra Karn has three artifacts for you on offer. However, you must first complete Noble Deeds in the Plagued Lands before she hands out the items. The following are in the inventory:
- Felwinter’s Memory
- Timur’s Memory
- Perun’s Memory
