In Destiny 2 it is once again time for the weekly spectacle that brings all Guardians together: the arrival of Xur. So buckle up, because it is time for an intergalactic Exo shopping tour. MeinMMO tells you how to find him as always.
Xur is a mysterious trader from the depths of the universe in Destiny 2. Whether you are looking for a new exotic weapon or armor, or just want to chat with Xur, every Guardian knows that he never lets the Lightbearers down. Not even this weekend.
Before we reveal to you what Xur has on offer and what can be obtained in the Trials, you can still discover our obligatory weekly recap.
What happened this week in Destiny 2? We are currently in week 5 of the seasonal story and after the recent major loss, many players were actually hoping for a reaction from Crow. However, that has not happened yet. Instead, other challenges came into play that the Guardians could tackle this week.
They are getting support from their new Cabal buddies. The enjoy taking down Strike bosses without the Guardians needing to shoot much. Some players found that practical, while others think the new allies are just obstacles.
In the Destiny 2 community, there was touching help for a 69-year-old mom and a Guardian tested his limits to find out how to make optimal competition against the PvE god.
Unfortunately, this week also saw the return of a supposed bug that scares many Guardians:

When will Xur arrive? As a trader for rare exotic goods in Destiny 2, Xur visits the universe every Friday at 7:00 PM. To shop with him, you just need some in-game currency so that the gaps in your collection can disappear faster.
Where is Xur? This is his camp for the weekend
Xur’s location: Although Xur only uses a few location positions in the destinations, no Guardian knows before 7:00 PM where he will land.

Trials return with a hot weapon for the Guardians

These Trials changes await you in Season 20:
- There is no more Freelance mode as Bungie has permanently activated player matchmaking based on the fireteam in the Trials.
- Additionally, there are new weapons to earn in Season 20:
- The award system in the Trials of Osiris has been slightly changed so that it works just like the other vendors in the Tower.
- Trials Engrams from previous seasons cannot be used in this new system and must be decrypted by Master Rahool.
Which map is in play this week? Unlike in regular PvP, where the maps rotate, in the Guardian versus Guardian endgame there is only one fixed map on which to play every weekend.

If you are interested in playing the Trials in a fixed team, MeinMMO recommends the callout maps over Warmind. This way you can effectively describe to your fireteam where the opponents are currently located on the map. This is useful information for the whole team.
This is how you get your loot: The Trials of Osiris feature a reputation rank system. Your top loot reward from the PvP matches is currently given for:
- Seven wins
- 50 rounds
- as well as the infamous flawless run that takes you to the Lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run
Each week you can also expect a very special weapon at the Lighthouse, which you will receive for your flawless run, meaning 7 wins, as a master version. You can earn the weapon until the upcoming Tuesday, April 4, at 7:00 PM.
As a reward, there is always an adept weapon waiting for you, if you have made it to the Lighthouse safely.
All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: “Haste” – Improves reload speed, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last remaining member of your fireteam or fighting alone.
Your Trials Engrams can be focused on your desired weapon with the 14th Saint. Additionally, you get enhancement prisms and ascendant shards. Remember that your rewards increase even further once you have a complete pass – even if you have lost one or two games.
When do the Trials officially start? The Trials of Osiris begin today, March 31, 2023 at 7:00 PM and end with the weekly reset on April 4, 2023 at 7:00 PM.
