Friday evening is back at the doorstep and everyone in Destiny 2 knows that with it, Xur will also make an appearance. What you can expect this week from the tentacle-faced merchant from a distant place, you will find out here at MeinMMO.
What happened this week? Since November 10, you have been able to participate in the Bungie Bounties. This was a Bungie-led event that encouraged you to collect bounties from streamers or Bungie employees. You had to venture into the Crucible or into Gambit and face off against these bounties. However, one streamer made it difficult for the Guardians to find him and tricked them with a clever trick.
A diligent Guardian published his most effective method of obtaining upgrade materials for your gear. This involves 2 simple and time-saving methods that any Guardian can apply.
Meanwhile, Bungie released a list of upgrades intended to change many old and new Exotics. Bungie is finally taking care of the beloved former DPS monster “Whisper of the Worm” and polishing it nicely.

The Trials of Osiris on November 12. – Map, Weapons, and Info
Which map is on this week? Bungie announced this week’s Trials map in the TWAB blog post. It is the Endless Vale on Nessus.
What changes can you expect? Bungie observed the recent Trials and admitted that removing the Flawless pool did not bring about the successes they had hoped for. Hence, this system is returning along with the zone capture mechanic.
The zones on the map will, however, work differently this time. They will not cater to the winning team but will spawn randomly at designated locations. These will rotate throughout the match. Thus, no team will be disadvantaged, and everyone will have the same chances.
You will no longer receive your loot in the Trials of Osiris through three, five, and seven wins, but through:
- 7 wins
- 50 rounds
- as well as the notorious flawless run
This is the reward for a flawless run: This time, you can expect the linear fusion rifle “Reed’s Regret” in adept in the heavy slot.
If you have obtained your desired weapon, you can focus your Trials engrams on it. On top of that, there are upgrade prisms and ascendant shards. Remember that your rewards will further increase once you have a complete pass – even if you have one or two losses.
When do the Trials start? The Trials start as usual at the daily reset at 6:00 PM.
What do you think of the revamped labs? Will you venture into battle again for glory, honor, and a few Trials engrams? Let us know!
