Destiny 2 doesn’t offer much new content this week. A new reputation boost is set, and the second challenge in the raid “Oryx’s Vow” is provided. However, we still show you what to expect this time and whether a visit to Tess Everis is worth it.
This is happening this week: Guardians shouldn’t expect much this week. The story of Season 16 is already concluded, and the Hive have been driven out of the individual areas. However, alternative activities such as the new raid with its challenges, PvP events, and the Nightfall provide variety. These can only be played after the weekly reset, which now takes place at 7 PM due to daylight saving time.
Bungie isn’t taking copyright strikes lightly and has now initiated legal consequences to punish the culprits. They already have some suspects in sight, who now face hefty penalties.
Additionally, you’re now expecting a new reputation boost for the 14th Saint and his Trials of Osiris. Accompanied by a new challenge in the raid “Oryx’s Vow”.

The Nightfall: The Trial by Fire is this week’s strike:
- The Birthplace of Evil, in Savathûn’s Throne World
- This time, the taunt is on again. The Witness has helped them gain new power, and it is up to the Guardians to put an end to that.
- Playlist Strikes have these modifiers:
- Solar Ignition
- Heavyweight
- Blackout
- The ignition modifier will accompany you all week, while the others change daily.
These weapons can be obtained from Nightfalls: Every week, players can receive certain weapons from the Nightfall strikes. Currently, eight weapons are in rotation in the loot pool. Two of them are available each week.

Nightfall Champions: On April 5, the Hardcore mode will start in the Nightfalls. Then, you can earn the current Nightfall weapon also as an enhanced Master version (Adept).
This is happening in the raid “Glass Chamber“:
- In the Glass Chamber, you can take on the challenge “The Only Oracle for You”. In this challenge, you may destroy each oracle only once during the encounter. For that, you need to rotate during the oracle phases.
- As a reward awaits in the challenge mode the time-lost weapon “Praedyth’s Revenge”. The weapon will definitely come with 2 perks per slot. But remember, that Hard and Normal mode share the loot.

- This week, the new raid in the Throne World is going into the second round of challenges. So far, not all mechanics are known, but the second challenge is called “Basic Information”.

This means the power level at the start of the DLC has increased by +230 power levels compared to the previous Season 15.
