This week: After Bungie revealed Commander Zavala’s emotional past, Guardians may need to help him face his nightmare once again and rediscover his mental strength this week.
In addition, Season 17 reveals more story beats, indicating that Bungie integrates a developing story with old locations when it fits.

Vanguard: Nightfall – The Trial by Fire
The Nightfall: The Trial by Fire is this week’s strike:
- The Corrupted, in the Dreaming City
- The Guardians must find one of Queen Mara’s closest advisors, Sedia, and free her from the control of the Taken.
This is the Nightfall weapon this week: In the fourth week of the “Season of the Haunted,” you can once again pick up a special Nightfall weapon, this time a Pulse Rifle.
- The Nightfall weapon this week is “Des Horrors Mindeste.”

Endgame: Raid Challenges

This is the new max level: In the new season of the Haunted, the maximum power level of your gear is at 1,570. Thus, the power level at the start of the new Season 17 has risen by +10 power levels compared to the previous Season 16. All players have also been raised to the base power level of 1,350. If you want to level quickly, you can also play the Legendary Campaign of the Witch Queen expansion and reach 1,520 upon completion and obtain a new Exotic.

Glint Dust Highlights in Eververse
Unfortunately, you can’t get the latest symbiotic armor ornaments in strikes, but only for silver in Eververse. However, Bungie at least has some highlights in its shop every week that you can obtain for Glint Dust, the earnable in-game currency.
And if you treated yourself to the fiery arm ornaments last week, then a visit to Eververse is a must this week to complete the set for Glint Dust.
