A new week in Destiny 2 begins, and that means it’s reset day with a chance for fresh top loot. So if you had bad luck last week, you can try again starting today. What new challenges await you this time, as always, MyMMO will tell you.
This week’s events: New week, new luck. The weekly reset in Destiny 2 brings new loot and new challenges every Tuesday at 7 PM.
After the story revelations from last week and wild theories about who in Destiny 2 might be the beginning of the end, many Guardians are curious about what will happen next. Today, it’s finally time, as the seasonal story “Sails of the Ship Thief” will continue little by little with steps 42 to 48.
If you had bad luck with the top loot last week, you can also start again. There is a new Nightfall waiting in the Cosmodrome, new seasonal challenges, and the second challenge in the “Kingsfall” raid at the “Grandmaster” difficulty level.
As always, there will be the regular playlist options. That’s why we’re showing you what today’s rotation includes in total.

The main information on activities from 27.09 to 04.10.

- This week, you can hunt the kinetic sniper rifle “Silicone Neuroform.”
You will be able to earn the Master version (Adept) of the Nightfall weapons next week, starting October 4th. That’s when the hardest PvE difficulty in Destiny 2 called “Grandmaster” will begin.

- The Singe modifier accompanies you all week, while the others change daily.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
What’s happening in the raid “Kingsfall”:

- In the “Sneaky Theft” challenge, players may not hold the “Mark of the Initiate” buff for more than five seconds. The challenge is anything but easy. It requires precise timing and tight coordination between players exchanging the buff.
Those who want to progress on the Triumph Seal must also play the challenge on Grandmaster difficulty to earn the sparrow “Ossein Earthbreaker.”
You can expect the following requirements and challenges:
- In Normal mode, completing a challenge grants you double loot.
- The requirement for each encounter on Grandmaster is Power Level 1600 with Champions.
- Only from the Grandmaster raid can you earn status-specific armor and master weapons.
- You can also earn new raid-exclusive exotics in the Grandmaster, themed after Oryx.
Additional top rewards from the endgame include:
- In the raid of the Dreaming City, you can expect a “Last Wish.”
- On the Moon in the “Pit of Heresy,” a lone Hive Knight awaits.
