This is happening this week: Not much is happening this week. The festivities of the Solstice event are still in full swing. So if you still want this year’s armor in its luminous form, you still have time.
Additionally, Gambit has the reputation booster active. Do you want to earn your ornament for the seasonal SMG “Chain of Command”? Then go for it, this week is definitely worth it.
Lastly, Bungie is spicing up the Trials of Osiris by allowing you this weekend to vote on which map you will fight on in the future. The maps available for selection are:
- Eternity
- Widow’s Court
- Rustlands

Strike: Nightfall – The Fire Test
The Nightfall: The Fire Test is the strike this week:
- The Corrupted, in the Dreaming City
- The Guardians must find one of Queen Mara’s closest advisors, Sedia, and free her from the control of the Taken.
This is the Nightfall weapon for this week: In the 10th week of Season of the Haunted, you can earn a special Nightfall weapon.
- This week you can expect the weapon “The Mind of Horror” – An Arc pulse rifle
Playlist Strikes have these modifiers:
- Solar Singe
- Grenadier
- Iron
- The Singe modifier will accompany you the whole week, while the others will change daily.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
This is happening in the latest raid “The Oath of the Scholar”:
- This week, in the raid “Oath of the Scholar”, the “Defense Failed” challenge is active. This raid challenge requires that you kill only one Taken Knight with your relic.
- As a reward for the challenge in the third section of the raid on Grandmaster difficulty, this week you have the chance for a master version of the submachine gun “Suppression” or the fusion rifle “Redemption”. Just keep in mind that Hard and Normal Mode share the loot.
You can get additional top rewards from the endgame:
- in the raid “Garden of Salvation”
- as well as in the dungeon “Pit of Heresy” – both on the Moon
Weekly Activities
With Season 17, additional activities have also been introduced. Explore the Leviathan and face the nightmares or surprise boss enemies in the new patrol zone. Grab the Solar Sense there and defend yourself in the Nightmare containment. Additionally, you can expect these weekly activities:

- This week you can play the seventh campaign mission of the Witch Queen as a repeatable story mission. It is about following the trusted source from Eris, who informs you about an artifact in the Throne World that may contain the answer to how Savathun obtained the Light.

Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
