Many guardians have not hesitated long and already made their armor shine in Destiny 2. However, the free Solstice event is not over yet and is only entering its second week. MeinMMO reveals what else awaits you this week in the loot shooter.
This week: The story in Destiny 2 has grown quiet. Ahsa, the brand new NPC, is currently sleeping deep in the methane sea under the Arcology on Titan. Guardians can currently take it easy and just do what they want.
- Some are completing a few triumphs or titles, finishing their collection, leveling up catalysts, or hunting for missing exotics.
- Story-loving guardians are listening to the veil-related lore texts to Lightfall in the containment on Neomuna to learn more about this object.
- Others have attended the campfire party despite the complaints about the event and continue to make their armor shine until the end of the Solstice event on August 8.
- And there are also guardians who have put fishing from Season 21 on hold and are using the time for a bit of Destiny holiday. A break from the hard grind and the Destiny trott is certainly good.
No matter what activity the guardians choose, the weekly reset in Destiny 2 offers a new week and thus brings further opportunities to secure a few chests in the world of the loot shooter. We will tell you what awaits.

Vanguard: Nightfall – The Trial by Fire
- The Lightblade, in Savathun’s Throne World
- This week, players will fight against the “Lightblade” in the Nightfall strike. He is considered Oryx’s potential successor and can achieve a decent speed when angry. Defeat him before he uses the light for the wrong purposes.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity
- The two modes Zone Control and Momentum Control are running this week in PvP.

Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
Farmable endgame on a weekly rotation: As the endgame progresses, the legacy rotations await. Both the rotating raid and the rotating dungeon are farmable. This means you can complete the individual encounters repeatedly to receive various items and complete your collection, including any exotics available in these contents.
- The weekly legacy raid is the “Glass Vault” with the Exotic “Vex Mythoclast”
- Additionally, in the dungeon “The Broken Throne” extra top loot and the exotic bow “Wishender” are available.
Bungie will further expand activity rotations of content starting in Season 22. Then players will not only be able to play raids and dungeons as “legacy”, but also old exotic missions.
Weekly Activities
With the weekly reset, several activities and challenges have once again been updated that offer players a variety of rewards and progress and make better guardians out of them through repetition.
- In the new Season 21, guardians need to dive to the ocean floor of Titan, which is infested by Taken and the Hive. They are searching for something at the bottom of its methane ocean. This promises the solution to ancient secrets and more information about the origins of the Witness.

Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
If you still need triumphs from the Dreaming City, pay attention: The Corruption reveals new access to you with a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture”.
- Petra Venj can be found in the area of Rheasilvia in the Dreaming City. The zone is currently in the 3rd curse week. The 4th Ascendant Challenge is to be mastered.

Glimmer Highlights in the Eververse
Almost every emote, ornament, or exotic vehicle eventually ends up in the glimmer offer. Therefore, it is always worth it for guardians to regularly earn this in-game currency to gradually complete their collection. This week there is again something new to buy in a summery look.
