Today is the last Weekly Reset in Destiny 2 before the new DLC. This means there is another significant boost so that every Guardian can complete everything on time. MyMMO tells you where exactly things are happening this week and what is available.
This week: No ordinary reset this week, even if the content remains the same. Because after today’s Weekly Reset, there is only one week left until the new Lightfall DLC. Bungie is therefore adding a triple boost to its playlists to ensure you can get everything done.
- So there are initially bonus ranks in the playlists of the Vanguard, in Gambit, and in the Crucible.
- On top of that, the grenade launcher “Wendigo GL3” is farmable, as “Guardian of Nothing” is up.
The final preparations are therefore in full swing this week. Players are already setting up completed bounties to make faster progress in the new DLC. After all, you need to climb a hefty 200 power levels or finish the seasonal weapon quest for “Revision Zero” before it disappears into the content vault by Season 22.

Vanguard: Nightfall – The Fire Test
- Guardian of Nothing, in the former Prison of Elders
- You need to find the “Crazy Overseer”. He is a heavily modified Fallen Servitor that was used by Variks the Loyal to monitor the Prison of Elders. After the outbreak of the Scorn, he activated and now exhibits unpredictable behavior, which is why the Guardians must stop him.
Playlist Strikes have the following modifiers this week:
- Solar Singe
- Stasis Burn
- Blackout
- The Singe modifier accompanies you all week, while the others change daily.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
What’s happening in the raid “Kingsfall”:
Even in the Kingsfall raid, people are astonished when it comes to the current challenge because the ogre is furious.
- To complete the third challenge “Astonished Gaze”, it depends on the two “Gaze Bearers” or also “Wrath Pullers”. The one who initially attracted Golgoroth’s wrath must stand in one of the regained light pools with the rest of the team that deals damage. Only then may the second player sneak behind Golgoroth and fire at the yellow hit point to reclaim the gaze of the ogre.
You can expect the following raid requirements and challenges:
- In normal mode, completing a challenge grants you double loot.
- You can only obtain status-specific gear and master weapons from the Grandmaster raid.
- You can also earn the new raid-exclusive exotic cosmetics in Oryx look from the Grandmaster.
Additional Legacy Pinnacle Rewards from the Endgame:
- The weekly legacy raid is “The Garden of Salvation” on the Moon.
- Additionally, there is also extra pinnacle loot in “The Pit of Heresy.”
Bungie will further expand these content rotations from Season 22. Then players will not only be able to play raids and dungeons as “Legacy” but also old exotic missions.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity:
- Unpack the Fallen grenade launcher and go after opposing Guardians in “Team Scorched.”
Playlist Bonus this week:
The last week boosts all playlists, so it’s a great opportunity to grab the ornaments from Velex-X that are waiting just before the second reputation rank reset at Zavala, Shaxx, and the Drifter.

Weekly Activities
Here come the most important activities of this week, and the Witch Queen mission is extremely fitting in this last week. This is the last chance to encounter Savathun in her own DLC once again. After that, she will be replaced as the main antagonist in Destiny 2 by the Witness.
Savathun’s Throne World – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “The Last Chance”
- This week you can play the seventh campaign mission of Witch Queen as a repeatable story mission. It’s about following the trusted source of Eris, who informs you about an artifact in the Throne World that may hold the answer to how Savathun gained the Light.
Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
Petra is also making her last stand. So if you still need triumphs from the Dreaming City, pay attention. The second level of corruption reveals new accesses with a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture.”
- Petra Venj can be found only in the Dreaming City right at the spawn point – as always during the 2nd Curse week. At the same time, the 6th Ascendant Challenge is active.
