This week marks the final two weeks of Season 19 in Destiny 2, promising you new content. The final story development before the end of the “Season of the Seraphs” will lead you to Lightfall. We’re excited to reveal what’s happening this week in the loot shooter.
This is happening this week: After a long period of silence, movement returns today in the seasonal story of Destiny 2. This is also linked to a Secret Triumph which, when completed, will likely reveal the “Soul of the Warmind”.
But keep in mind: Season Pass owners must have completed the “More Than a Weapon” quest to start this final mission. Only then can you jump right in after the weekly reset. The new quest “Abominable Imperative” begins with a cutscene and a new message from the Vanguard Operations Center, short for “H.E.L.M.”.
Afterwards, all eyes are on the new DLC. It will launch on February 28 and must showcase what Destiny 2 has left in store. We at MeinMMO will keep you updated on everything:
- On February 27 Destiny 2 will go offline for the release of the “Season of Resistance”.
- It’s going up a steep 200 power levels – so you have a lot to grind.
- On March 10, players can already expect the launch of the new Lightfall raid.
- Bungie’s Game Director Joe Blackburn has also talked about further plans for the Lightfall year.

Vanguard: Dawn – The Trial of Fire
- The Mirror Corridor, on Jupiter’s moon Europa
- Elsie Bray requests the Guardians’ help to stop the advance of the Vex on Europa. Gear up and defeat the Transcendent Spirit “Belmon” again in the Dawn.

- Iron
- The Singe modifier accompanies you all week, while the others change daily.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
What’s happening in the raid “Kingsfall”:
In the current raid “Kingsfall”, the second challenge is Insidious Theft.
- The second raid challenge “Insidious Theft” takes place during the second phase of the Kingsfall raid at the War Priest. To complete the challenge “Insidious Theft”, you must not carry the “Mark of the Initiated” buff for longer than 5 seconds instead of 30 seconds. The timer starts after you kill the Possessed Knight and drop the buff.
You can expect the following raid requirements and challenges:
- In Normal mode, completing a challenge grants you double loot.
- Only from the Grandmaster raid can you obtain status-specific armor and Master weapons.
- Additionally, you can earn the new raid-exclusive Exotic cosmetics in the Oryx look from the Grandmaster.
Additional Legacy Pinnacle Rewards from the Endgame:
- The weekly Legacy raid is “Last Wish” in the Dreaming City.
- Furthermore, there is “The Broken Throne” in the Dreaming City for extra pinnacle loot.
This rotation will be expanded by Bungie in Season 22. Then players can not only play raids and dungeons as “legacy”, but also old Exotic missions, as Bungie revealed this week.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity:
- Throw your supers on the conveyor belt in the “Cauldron” against enemy Guardians
Playlist Bonus this week:
- The Vanguard is generous. There are bonus rewards for you to earn there.
- Additionally, you are offered Freelance Trials and the “Zone Capture” mode.

Savathun’s Throne World – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “The Trick”
- In this campaign mission, you search the dark corners of Savathun’s throne world for another clue as to how she stole the Light.
Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
If you still need Triumphs from the Dreaming City, pay attention. The second tier of corruption reveals new accesses with a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture”.
- Petra Venj stands at the top of the pavilion in the area “The Shore” in the Dreaming City. The curse cycle starts anew and curse week 1 is active. The 5th Ascendant Challenge is also active.
