The coming week brings a selfless wolf back to Destiny 2. Lord Saladin currently bears a heavy burden and only due to Commander Zavala’s good relationship with the Emperor of the Cabal is his temporary return for the PvP event allowed. While his future remains uncertain, let’s take a look at what else awaits you this week.
This week: The Vanguard Strikes continue. For all who have not yet gilded their Conqueror title, “The Arms Dealer” rotates into the Nightfall Strikes this week.
Otherwise, this week is focused on PvP. Lord Saladin is released by Empress Caiatl and is allowed to leave the Cabal during the time of the Iron Banner and return to the Tower. A concession that allows Guardians to once again enjoy the popular PvP event for a week. Plan ahead to turn in your Iron Banner tokens with the Iron Lord, as no one knows what his future looks like, or do they?
In regular PvP with Lord Shaxx, double Crucible ranks are active so you can enjoy some chill rounds in the “Team Scorched” mode to perhaps reset your Glory rank once again.

This week’s Nightfall: The Ordeal is the strike:
- The Arms Dealer, set in the European Dead Zone
- You will face a great many Cabal with Solar and Void Shields there. Additionally, you must defeat the boss Bracus Tynoc, who often sends his horde of Warbeasts and annoying Flame Turrets after you.
- Playlist Strikes have these modifiers:
- Void Scorching
- Heavyweight
- Iron
- The Scorching modifier accompanies you all week, the others change daily.
These weapons can be obtained from Nightfalls: Each week players can obtain certain weapons from the Nightfall Strikes. Currently, there are eight weapons in rotation in the loot pool. Two of these are available each week.

- The Hothead, Arc Rocket Launcher
- The Palindrome – 140 Void Hand Cannon
- Trustee – 600 Kinetic Auto Rifle
- Silicon neurom – 72 Kinetic Sniper Rifle

Vanguard Strikes: To start in the top tier of Strikes, the Vanguard Nightfall, you need a power level of 1,575. You will also be fighting in competitive mode. This means you will be fighting 25 power levels below the Vanguard’s power level of 1,600, so you need to proceed tactically and in coordination with your team.
This is happening in the raid “Glass Chamber”:
- In the Glass Chamber, the Gatekeeper Challenge called “Strangers in Time” takes place. Note that here you’ll need to take out the Minotaurs on the different time axes on Mars and Venus simultaneously with the Wyverns.
- As a reward, a time-distorted weapon awaits you in the challenge mode of the raid. This week it’s the rocket launcher “Heze’s Vengeance.” The weapon also comes with guaranteed 2 perks per slot. But always remember that hard and normal mode share the loot.
This is happening in the raid “The Oath of the Pupil”:
- This week marks the fourth challenge in the new raid “Loop Catalyst”. To complete it, your team must maintain at least one stack of the buff “Siphoning Force” before the damage phase on Rhulk.
Savathun’s Throne World – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “The Spirits” – Repeatable Witch Queen Campaign Mission
- The Guardians have discovered traces of a ghost that hint at Sagira. Can the dead ghost of Osiris help unlock the mystery of Savathun? But to reveal the memory, you must first find him.

This is the new max level: In the new season of the Resurrected, the maximum power level of your gear is 1,560. This means that the power level at the start of the DLC has increased by +230 power levels compared to the previous season 15. However, all players are also raised to a base power level of 1,350 at the start and there are many sources to level up quickly.
Those who want to reach 1,520 power level quickly only have to complete the Legendary Campaign. One of the new Witch Queen Exotics will be received as a gift upon completion.
