Destiny 2 starts today in week three of Season 17 and thus the current story will also receive a continuation. Players are once again exploring the past of the NPCs. MeinMMO is right in the middle and reports to you what is currently happening in the story and what activities await you this week.
This week: Currently, Bungie is setting standards with Season 17 – both positive and negative. Players are unhappy with the state of PvP as well as the new Solar 3.0 abilities. However, with the reset and today’s update, a few more bugs are expected to be fixed.
In addition, besides the regular activities this week, the seasonal story mission will also continue today. This means that players may once again visit the activity “Separation” on the Leviathan and face another nightmare. Initial leaks also suggest a cutscene with Zavala and his female nightmare Safiyah.
What happened last week in the story? Last week, Crow had to endure further mockery and accusations from his nightmare and old ego Uldren Sov.
What was especially interesting here was the underlying message of Destiny 2. Instead of fighting these voices that tell you that you aren’t good enough, the game encourages you to try to accept them instead and therefore “transform” them. Pained nightmares become acceptable memories.
Thanks to his acceptance, Crow is now at peace with Uldren Sov. He even believes that he truly knows his purpose now. He wants to repay his debt from now on by continuing Cayde’s old patrols and being there for the Hunters. The application to Commander Zavala for the position of Hunter Vanguard seems to be just a formality. But whether the Guardians will like this in Destiny 2 remains to be seen. Especially since Ikora just had a visit from Cayde’s nightmare.

Vanguard: Nightfall: The Proving Grounds
The Nightfall: The Proving Grounds is the strike this week:
