This Destiny 2 has the finale of the Festival of the Lost this week. Additionally, Guardians are working on completing the last Triumphs. What is available to you this week will of course always be provided by the Destiny 2 editorial team at MeinMMO.
This is happening this week: This week, some Guardians still need to scrape together all the candies. There is one week left to collect 30,000 candies for the title’s gilding or to pick up a Sargnagel.
Moreover, the Festival of the Lost 2022 is a great source to improve your materials like enhancement cores or glimmer. So check out Eva in the Tower, grab additional bounties, and exchange your unused candies for a few Epic-Mysterious-Bag of Wonders.

Strike: Nightfall – The Fire Test
The Nightfall: The Fire Test is the strike:
- Exodus Crash, on Nessus
- The Fallen have pursued the Vanguard to Nessus and damaged the Exodus Black and Failsafe, their AI. Zavala sends you on “Operation Piccolo” to eliminate Thaviks, the fallen marauder from the House of Dusk. However, he won’t make it easy for you, as his small arena crackles with Arc energy, and he shows no mercy.
This is the Nightfall weapon for this week: As a reward for your run, you will always receive a special Nightfall weapon.
Playlist Strikes have the following modifiers this week:
- Void Singe
- Heavyweight
- Grounded
- The Singe modifier accompanies you all week, while the others change daily.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
This is happening in the raid “Kingsfall”:
- The raid challenge “Sly Theft” takes place in the second phase of the Kingsfall raid at the War Priest. To specifically complete the challenge “Sly Theft”, you must not hold the buff “Mark of the Initiate” for longer than 5 seconds instead of 30 seconds. The timer starts once you kill the Possessed Knight and lift the buff.
You can expect the following raid requirements and challenges:
- In Normal mode, completing a challenge grants you double loot.
- The requirement for each encounter for Grandmaster is a power level of 1600 with champions.
- Only from the Grandmaster raid will you receive status-specific armor and master weapons.
- You can also earn new raid-exclusive exotic cosmetics in the Oryx design in the Grandmaster.
Additional top rewards from the endgame are available:
- In the raid “Last Wish” which takes place in the Dreaming City
- and in the free The Nine dungeon “Prophecy”
Weekly Activities
In Season 18, Guardians can gather cryptic quatrains as a pirate with their own crew for exactly 35 more days starting today, and tackle the seasonal content. This includes:
- Ketch Crash: Dive into this new 6-player activity for ship vs. ship battles to prevent Eramis and her pirate crew from plunging the galaxy into chaos. Here you can earn top loot per week on Grandmaster.
- Expedition: Assemble treasure maps, search for treasures, and return to your ship while fending off enemy pirate crews.
- Pirate Hideouts: Fight through weekly missions and loot powerful relics hidden in the lairs of the pirate lords.
Even though the seasonal quest has been completed by most players, a prologue may still await. Currently, Mithrax and Eido are investigating the mysterious artifacts of Nezarek. It is quite possible that Bungie has a final story tidbit up its sleeve.
Besides Season 18, the current DLC from “The Witch Queen” is still active and can be played. For example, in the weekly repeatable campaign mission. There you can also earn top loot to reach the current max power level of 1580.
Savathun’s Throne World – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “The Arrival”
- This week, you can play the first campaign mission on Grandmaster difficulty. You infiltrate a Cabal base on Mars and then bravely investigate Savathun’s ship for clues about the Light.

- Private Match
- Rumble

- Elimination
- Glory Survival
- Glory Survival: Freelance
- Showdown (If you need ability kills, you should try your luck here)
- Trials of Osiris (Starts November 4)
A brief note for all Iron Banner fans: Lord Saladin has announced his return with the Iron Banner event for November 15, 2022 in Destiny 2. This will be the last event before Season 19.
This week, you get a bonus:
- After earning extra ranks in the Trials last week, this week it’s all or nothing in Gambit. The Drifter is awarding bonus Gambit ranks to you until November 8.
Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
- Petra Venj has this week’s 2nd Ascendant Challenge for you. You can find Petra and her quest offer at the location “The Shore” in the Dreaming City. Here too, Savathun has her fingers in the pie, as the curse begins to reclaim the holy city of the Awoken at level 1.

This is the new max level: In the new season of the Looters, the maximum power level of your gear is 1,580. This increases the power level at the start of the new Season 18 by +10 compared to the previous Season 17. All players receive the base power level of 1,350.

Here’s how to get free loot: For all new and old Guardians who want to join in the future or after a break, Bungie has prepared the “Gift of the Thunder Gods” in Season 18.
You can pick up this loot chest for free in the H.E.L.M. after you have completed the “New Light” campaign. It brings you to a power level of up to 1540 or more – with Arc armor and weapons, as well as two exotic and ten legendary items. You can also pick up the rewards for all your characters once.
Glimmer Highlights in the Eververse
