With the increase in Power Level and some changes in the Supers, Destiny 2 now offers some insane possibilities in the fight against raid bosses. A group from the Redeem clan has now taken down the Ogre Morgeth in a new way.
How top players spend their time: Most players are probably still battling through the new content of Season 6 such as Gambit Prime or Reckoning.
However, top players have long mastered the fresh content and are occupying their time with their own challenges like speedruns or crazy boss kills.
Which boss is it about? A group from the Redeem clan around exceptional player Gladd has now sent the Ogre Morgeth, one of the bosses from the Forsaken raid Last Wish, to the virtual afterlife in a spectacular way.
This is arguably one of the most unusual kills that the Ogre had to endure.
How did they kill Morgeth? The Redeem clan team did not fight the Ogre from the originally intended area right next to the boss. They took down the beast almost across the entire map of this raid section from the other end of the broken bridge – a challenge that no other team has likely accomplished until now.
The special thing about it: This bridge actually leads to Morgeth. One must pass it in the Ascendant Realm over fragments to reach the Ogre – unless one uses the Wall of Wishes. In the normal world, the bridge is not even visible.
After the team initially started this raid encounter with the regular strategy, Gladd and four other players with their Warlocks and Titans swung swords back over the nonexistent bridge to the original entrance of this section.
After the remaining team member completed the mechanics and applied debuffs to the raid boss, the four players at the other end of the bridge finished him off with their rocket launchers.
Within seconds Morgeth fell in one pass. The damage team was so far away that they could barely see the Ogre through the sights of their weapons.

How fans react: Fans are celebrating this unusual boss kill by the Redeem clan. The video has been viewed over 100,000 times in just a few days and has more than 3,000 likes.
Gladd is always good for a surprise, even when there’s hardly anything new to shine with, many fans find.
Many joke that it’s only a matter of time before Redeem defeats Calus from Nessus or kills Riven from the Volundr Forge.
