In Destiny 2 you can now visit the 14th Saint (Saint-14) in the Tower. We explain to you why a visit is worth it.
Where is the 14th Saint? You will find the lost hero in the Hangar of the Tower. Right next to Amanda Holliday and her workshop, a mysterious spaceship awaits your visit.
As you approach the spacecraft, a short cutscene starts. None other than Saint-14 himself welcomes you. The character described as a “legendary Titan” is now available to players as an NPC.
The Titan does not come empty-handed
Here’s why you should talk to Saint-14: When you interact with the newcomer, there are not only cool dialogues and references, but also a series of quests and tasks to complete:
- The Duty of a Guardian – To complete this task, you must complete bounties in the Crucible, Gambit, or from the Vanguard.
- Tribute to the Colony – During this longer quest, you will be required to defeat enemies on various planets and complete events.
- Cornerstone – you need to collect important components from powerful Fallen, Vex, and Cabal for this quest. By completing this task, you unlock an Obelisk in the Tower.
Once you’ve made the 14th Saint happy, he offers you various bounties. Through these, you can quickly obtain the seasonal Fractaline currency. At the Obelisk in the Tower, Guardians have the opportunity to obtain the shotgun Perfect Paradox with random rolls.
Don’t forget the cookie: As part of the Christmas Dawning event, you should bake diligently. You must then distribute the created goodies to friendly NPCs and even raid bosses across the solar system.
However, one delivery has so far been impossible: to the 14th Saint. Since he has now decided to settle in the Tower, bake him a “Lavender Ribbon Cookie” right away. You can find the recipe, as well as all other baking instructions and ingredients, here:
Why is the visit so surprising? The focus of Season 9 is on the time traveler Osiris and his search for the legendary Titan Saint-14. The Season of Dawn is currently two weeks old, and we are in the middle of the exciting time travel story.
We have fought through alternative timelines for Warlock Osiris. During the impossible tasks, we actually encountered the Titan. We fought side by side and were rewarded with cool cutscenes.
Thus, Guardians initially thought that they would have to wait at least another week for news from the most stubborn of all Titans. The daily reset on Friday has now surprisingly brought both Xur and Saint-14.
