Today, a server down is being performed again in Destiny 2. Bungie is trying to keep the game running so you can play Iron Banner this week. We show you all the important times and patch notes in our overview and are live during this time.
This is what you need to know today: After the major mid-season update, Bungie is taking the servers down this time for a smaller patch. This will, as usual, attempt to fix some bugs and improve stability.

Maintenance on 25.04. – All times for the server down
These times are important today: As always, Bungie shared the exact times via Twitter. This time you will have to do without Destiny 2 for 30 minutes. So you might as well go outside and touch some grass.
Here is the exact schedule for the maintenance:
- The maintenance work will begin at 6:00 PM German time on all platforms.
- From 6:30 PM, the servers will go offline and players will be automatically kicked from all activities.
- Update 7.0.5.1 will be rolled out and can be downloaded during this time on all platforms.
- Officially, the servers will be back online around 7:00 PM.
- However, the ongoing background maintenance will not end until 8:00 PM, if everything goes smoothly. During this time, you can already play again.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may not be correctly accessible for a while after the update.
What changes with Hotfix 7.0.5.1 in Season 20
This is what the hotfix brings today: Bungie is continuously working through the error reports that have been reported since the launch of Lightfall.
MeinMMO lists the issues that Bungie is already aware of. However, what will be fixed will only be shown in the patch notes.
- Chests at the destination in the EDZ contain no rewards when opened.
- Transferring a missing item from the loadouts via the Destiny API can crash some players’ games.
- The Strand Hunter aspect “Entangling Strike” does not trigger some class ability mods.
- The text regarding the seasonal reset of the Guardian ranks incorrectly states that ranks 6 to 10 are Ascendant ranks and players at these ranks will be reset to rank 5 at the end of the season. In fact, ranks 7 to 11 are Ascendant ranks and players at these ranks will be reset to rank 6 at the end of the season.

What is in the patch notes? The comprehensive list of all changes to hotfix 7.0.5.1 will be released by Bungie in the form of patch notes. However, these will only be published tonight.
