Just under a week left until Destiny 2 Season 19 begins. But before that, players can expect a few server downtimes, as Bungie has announced three maintenance times. MeinMMO will keep you updated on today’s downtime and inform you about possible changes.
What you need to know today: After a small update break, Bungie is bringing the update planned for yesterday today, on November 30th. The servers will therefore go offline for maintenance, and you won’t be able to play for a while. Additionally, the downtime starts earlier than usual, at 4 PM.
While Bungie works on the servers, MeinMMO will accompany you and update this article with fresh information as soon as the maintenance begins. So stay tuned so you don’t miss anything.
8:00 PM: Bungie has just completed the maintenance in the background, via Twitter.
7:00 PM: Everything is done. Bungie has brought the Destiny 2 servers back online. You can now log back into the game. However, note that there may still be delays with the Destiny app and third-party applications until 8 PM. No download is available.
5:00 PM: The servers from Bungie have just gone offline. For 2 hours you will not be able to play Destiny 2.
4:00 PM: Maintenance has started in the background. You should finish all ongoing activities in the next hour because then the servers will go down and you will be kicked.

Maintenance on 11/30 – All times and server downtime
As always, Bungie has provided detailed downtime information regarding the maintenance. We offer this information in our article with the German times. This way you can better plan your gaming day today.
All times at a glance:
- Maintenance work will begin in the background on all platforms as early as 4 PM German time.
- From 5 PM onwards, the servers will go offline, and you will be automatically kicked from all activities.
- The servers are expected to come back online around 7 PM. However, it is not known whether there will be an update with a download.
- Maintenance will end at 8 PM.
Also keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not function properly for a while after the downtime.
This might change with the maintenance
With the server downtime, Bungie might already be making initial preparations for the start of the upcoming Season 19. It begins on December 6th and will change some of the Guardians’ abilities.
- For example, Bungie will adjust the bonus base duration of the improved storm grenade granted by “Spark of Magnitude” in Season 19.
- The Void Hunter receives more differentiated supers for Shadow Shot: Deadfall and the Mobius Quiver. Here, the tether anchor duration will be changed.
- The damage against PvE combatants for some abilities, such as Ballistic Impactor, Arc Soul, or Chain Lightning, will be increased.
- The Stasis Hunter and Stasis Titan will receive an additional fragment slot for Glacial Harvest and Cryoclasm.
- As well as further adjustments.
However, what is specifically planned for the small maintenance marathon has not yet been disclosed. But there still seem to be issues in the “Duality” dungeon.
Current list of known issues:
- Players can sometimes die when they are transported to the Nightmare Realm in the “Duality” dungeon.
- The cutscene for the seasonal introduction can exhibit extremely low frame rates when viewed by players in the Epic Games Store.
- Loading times on the Tower remain slow. Guardians can evade to the H.E.L.M. to circumvent this bug. Bounties can be purchased through the official Bungie app.
- Name changes for players are not customizable through bungie.net. Players are still waiting for the option to change their usernames multiple times instead of just once.
If you encounter any other issues in the game, it is recommended to report them directly through the official Bungie Help forum to make the developers aware of it as well.
Don’t forget to claim rewards: Bungie has informed its players that you can only claim your earned but unclaimed vendor rewards from the previous Season 17 until December 6th via the website. This is possible through the “Previous Season Pass Rewards” page. Past season pass rewards can only be claimed in Destiny 2 until the end of the subsequent season. After that, they are irretrievably lost.
Patch Notes for Update on 11/30 in Destiny 2
What’s in the patch notes? Should Bungie implement an update, this could also mean the release of a hotfix. Traditionally, we receive this information fairly quickly after the servers have come back online.
