What you need to know today: Soon, Bungie will say goodbye for the winter vacation. But before that, they want to bring another update online, as there are still bugs in the game that need to be fixed. For this, hotfix 6.3.0.2 is ready to go, which means you will be faced with a short downtime tonight during which you cannot play.

6:00 PM: Update has just been rolled out. You can start the download now. On PC, it is exactly 114.5 MB in size.
5:45 PM: The servers are offline. But don’t worry, they are expected to be back online in 15 minutes.
5:00 PM: Maintenance has started. Initially in the background. So, you have 45 minutes to finish your ongoing activities.

Update 6.3.0.2 on December 15 – All times and server downtime
Bungie announces exact outage times for each update, during which players cannot play. We provide you with this information in our article with the times in German. This way, you can plan your gaming evening perfectly.
All times at a glance:
- At 5:00 PM German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms.
- From 5:45 PM, the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked from all activities.
- Around 6:00 PM, the servers are expected to come back online and update 6.3.0.2 will be rolled out for all platforms. After downloading, you can log back into the game.
- The ongoing background maintenance will officially end at 7:00 PM, if everything goes smoothly.
Also keep in mind that third-party apps as well as the official companion app may not be properly accessible for a while after the update.
What changes with update 6.3.0.2 in Season 19
Today’s update could be the last one before Bungie’s winter break. Therefore, players hope that the biggest difficulties will be resolved beforehand.
Current list of known issues:
- Some artifact mods do not appear in the normal class items. They can only be added to the artful armor.
- Notifications for completed seasonal challenges blink but cannot be claimed. If Bungie does not fix this soon, the problem will resolve itself in week 3 and/or week 5 when players can dismiss them.
- The activity “Pirate Hideouts” from Season 18 is no longer displayed to players and therefore cannot be played, causing players to be unable to progress with the seasonal content.
- Dawn mood for baking cookies does not drop correctly from all activities.
- The last step of the quest “Helpers for the Cookie Delivery” requires players to master Eva’s holiday oven. However, this quest step does not grant any additional reward.
- The exotic scout rifle “Jade Hare” is currently disabled because its exotic effect could also be transferred to other weapons to deal headshot damage with body shots.
- The mod “Unstoppable Handcannon” activates the perk “Unstoppable” repeatedly when using the targeting device on any weapon, creating an audio loop.
- Players sometimes get stuck in the lasers in the Europa heist battleground.
- Player name changes are not adjustable via bungie.net. Players are still waiting for the option to adjust their usernames multiple times instead of just once.
