In the European PlayStation Store, Destiny 2 was recently unavailable for some time. Sony states that the publisher requested the game to be removed.
Destiny 2 urgently sought: Some players recently reported on social media that Destiny 2 was not found in the PlayStation Store for a certain time. It appears to have affected only the European store, as players in the USA were still able to access the shooter.
Guardians report that for over 24 hours neither the base game nor the add-ons of Destiny 2 were displayed in the store. Only the premium currency Silver could still be purchased.
The predecessor Destiny 1, however, remained available with all add-ons.
Why did this happen? Players reported the incident through Twitter, on Reddit, and in Bungie’s own forum. Bungie stated via social media that it was investigating a problem causing Destiny 2: Forsaken and the Annual Pass not to appear in the European PS Store.
The PlayStation Support, however, provided a different answer to the angry players: The UK support stated that the publisher had requested Destiny 2 to be removed from the store. Players should contact the publisher directly for further questions.

No response from the publisher explaining why Destiny 2 was no longer available in the store was provided.
Who is the publisher? The publisher would be Activision. Earlier this year, Bungie and Activision parted ways after eight years of collaboration. Bungie intends to continue the “Destiny” brand on its own after all this time.
