The vault for the launch of Destiny 2 will be significantly larger than the vault for the launch of Destiny 1. This is shown by a new leak.
Curious story: Apparently, a Polish Guardian has already obtained a PS4 full version of Destiny 2. But that’s not all: Allegedly, he streamed “Destiny 2” gameplay for nearly five hours until his account was banned by Bungie.
Some screenshots of this big leak have now appeared on the reddit forum, which make a “real” impression. Many of them have poor image quality. However, two images have interesting information.
Will 200 items fit in the vault?
This screenshot shows the “Schowki”. My Polish is limited, but Google Translate reveals that this means “lockers”. So this refers to the vault:
According to this screenshot, 200 items are supposed to fit in the vault – including mixed weapons and armor pieces.
At the launch of Destiny 1, the vault was significantly smaller. Back then, you could store a maximum of 20 armor pieces, 20 weapons, and 20 general items. So, at the launch of Destiny 2, there will likely be significantly more space to collect items.
In the past years of Destiny, the vault size has been discussed repeatedly. Guardians demanded more storage space for their achievements, and Bungie looked for ways to provide this. After several vault expansions, Bungie also introduced “collections,” where players could recover items that they had disassembled at any time.
Additionally, you see a “overview for engrams” on this leaked screenshot with a maximum of 10. Below are the consumables with a maximum of 50. This is not a sub-section of the vault but part of the character inventory. It is possible that engrams are no longer collected directly in the corresponding weapon or armor slots, but in this new overview.
Keep in mind that this is not official information but leaks. Therefore, this information should be treated with a good dose of caution.
