Guardians in Destiny 2 have a new ability called “Deep Sight,” which turns them into paracausal detectives, provided they have the right level. Some illusions found in the Throne World can only be revealed at higher levels. MeinMMO tells you how to upgrade your Deep Sight ability to unlock levels 2 and 3.
Anyone wandering through the new location Savathun’s Throne World will quickly notice one thing: there are Deep Sight points everywhere. If you spot one, you can reveal it using your new ability “Deep Sight.” Essentially, players are familiar with something similar from Season 15 when they could activate paths and plateaus through “True Sight” in the Shattered Realm.
What is the Deep Sight ability? During the campaign, Guardians receive a new ability, Deep Sight, which allows them to see things that existed in the past. This is meant to help them uncover the secrets surrounding Savathun and her world.
However, this ability is not only useful in the story.
- In the open world of Savathun’s Throne World, it can be used to discover hidden paths, platforms, and secret locations.
- Invisible chests can also be found with it, similar to the Ascendant Chests in the Dreaming City.
- The past of weapons is recognized to “tune” their properties with Deep Sight Resonance, enabling players to later forge new weapons from it.
However, you cannot activate all memory nodes in the Throne World immediately. The Deep Sight ability has three levels. You already have level 1, but to reach levels 2 and 3, you first need to level up a bit.
How to get to Deep Sight levels 2 and 3?
Anyone who wants to discover everything needs the help of Fynch. This little Scorn ghost is the new “Best Buddy” of the Guardians and a deserting Scorn ghost who supports players against Savathun. At the same time, he serves as an NPC vendor in Savathun’s Throne World.
In Fynch’s quest menu, you can also level up your Throne World reputation rank through “Arms Length.” The level of the Deep Sight ability can be increased with a rising Throne World rank as well.
- At Throne World reputation rank 11, you unlock Deep Sight level 2.
- If you reach Throne World reputation rank 15, you will have full insight with Deep Sight level 3.
This is how you increase your rank in the Throne World: There are a total of 30 ranks in the Throne World, and for each rank, you need 1000 reputation points.
While you level up in the Throne World, your artifact level will also increase alongside it. Especially a mod from the artifact could become particularly strong in this Season 16: “Suppressing Darkness.”
To earn the required 15,000 rank points for a reset, there are various options you can utilize. Generally speaking, almost everything you do in the Throne World advances you.
- Opening chests gives you +20 to your Throne World rank with Fynch.
- Daily bounties grant you +50 rank points.
- Additional bounties from Fynch yield +20 rank points.
- Completing a Lost Sector grants +70 rank points.
- Repeat the campaign and earn +125 rank points for it.
- “Altars of Reflection” and Ruinous Runs also give +125 rank points.
- Public events grant you +130 rank points.
What works best? We would particularly recommend three activities to level up the rank efficiently.
- Always pick up the daily bounties that give +50 rank points from Fynch. Also, refill the additional bounties in between and farm rank points along the way.
- The Lost Sector “Metamorphosis” in the Miasma area is equally good. It only takes about 5 to 8 minutes once you get the hang of it.
- Complete public events whenever possible. Sometimes, you can even earn +130 rank points just by running past.
