What’s going on in Destiny 2? Recently, the Guardians returned in droves to the Moon. The highly anticipated expansion Shadowkeep went live and came with a ton of new adventures.
A new Exo quest is live: The Vex brought a new quest for the Guardians during their Moon invasion. Read below for more information on how to start the quest, how to solve it, and what the reward is.

Here’s how to complete the new exotic quest Divine Fragmentation
Here’s how to find the quest: Land in the northern part of the Moon (Harbor of Woe) and head south. Your goal is the raid entrance. Always keep left until you come to a tunnel. At the end of the cave, you will see a huge, round Vex gate.
We have marked the way on the map:

Approach the portal until Vex appear. Defeat them! After several waves that you diligently dismantle, a huge Vex Minotaur (Zeteon the Redeemer Spirit) will eventually appear. From him, you will receive the quest “Divine Fragmentation.”
The quest “Divine Fragmentation” in Destiny 2
The first quest step – Analyze Vex cores: To analyze the required Vex cores, you must go to three specific Lost Sectors on Nessus:
- The Planetary Machine (Artifact’s Haul)
- Old Hideout (Tangle)
- The Conflux (Cistern)
In the Lost Sectors, you must scan each glowing white data fragments/anomalies. To do this, you need to eliminate the Garden Vex around the floating data construct.
Where you can find the Lost Sectors and the cores is shown in this video:
The second quest step: Next, you need to repair the Vex core. Defeat Vex invaders to make progress. This is quickest to achieve during the Vex Offensive. Here you only need a few minutes to complete the step.
The third quest step: Now you must visit the Chalice of Enchantment on the Moon. The altar is located just to the left of Eris Morn. Obtain an Improved Vex Core in exchange for 30 Illusive Fragments.
The fourth quest step: With the final step, you also face the most elaborate part of the quest. You must not only complete the raid “Garden of Salvation” along with the final boss – additionally, you face 7 smaller puzzles scattered throughout the raid. It seems that all puzzles must be completed in one raid run. So plan enough time for it.

To complete the quest task, you need a full fireteam of 6 Guardians. Part of all puzzles is a mechanic where your Guardians must transfer energy to each other, thus forming a kind of continuous “light chain”.
The YouTuber Nexxos Gaming shows you in detail where and how to solve the 7 puzzles of the raid. The video starts at minute 4:35 with this final quest step:
What the new exotic Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2 can do
The new Exotic Divinity: The pulse rifle deals Arc damage, uses Special ammunition, and is used in the energy slot. Like all exotic pulse rifles, it has a fire rate of 1,000 and a very large magazine. In terms of stats, it closely resembles its counterparts:
The unique abilities of Divinity are:
- Judgment: Ongoing damage with this weapon envelops the target in a field that weakens and disrupts them.
- Reprisal: Targets that remain under the influence of Judgment long enough receive accumulated damage.

The weakening field created by continuous fire increases the damage dealt by the entire fireteam to the affected enemy by 25 percent. You can add other debuffs, such as that of the Tractor Cannon, to this debuff.
Additionally, you can deal critical damage across the entire field. Critical damage is otherwise only possible at weak points such as headshots.
Have you already dived headfirst into the raid and are on the hunt for the new exotic? Or have you already earned Divinity?
