This is what you need to know today: Bungie has announced a hotfix for today, Thursday, October 28. In the last TWAB, they wrote down some known bugs that Bungie still needs to fix. These include:
- The eyes of the Skerren Corvus mask no longer glow.
- The “One-Inch-Punch” finisher is played without sound when executed.
- Some players may appear invisible or in the loading screen for an extended period.
These and some others could be fixed with the new hotfix.

Maintenance on October 28 – All times and server downtime
These times are important today:
- At 6:00 PM German time, maintenance work will start on all platforms.
- From 6:45 PM, the servers will go offline. You will be kicked from all activities, and the downtime will begin.
- It is expected that around 7:00 PM the servers will be back online and the hotfix 3.3.1.2 will roll out worldwide.
- Once you have downloaded the update (and copied it), you can play Destiny 2 again.
- At 8:00 PM, the maintenance work is scheduled to end.
It is important: Even if you have downloaded the update, there may be connection issues until the maintenance work ends around 8:00 PM. You may have to expect queues when logging in. Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not be accessible correctly.
What changes with hotfix 3.3.1.2 in Season 15
This is what the hotfix brings today:
- Telesto is back.
Bungie has revamped the functionality of Telesto significantly, and we can reset our timer until the next ultimate gamebreaker through Telesto again.- Telesto bubbles no longer stick to allies but now hit and explode.
- Telesto bubbles can no longer be shot at/destroyed.
- The lifespan of Telesto bubbles has been changed from 10 seconds to ~5 seconds. When they hit near enemies, they still detonate.
- Titan’s Diamond Lance:
No friendly fire is now possible with it.
