We asked you if you would give Blizzard’s mobile MMOARPG “Diablo Immortal” a chance, or if the game would not be installed for you. These are the results of our survey, in which 2500 people participated.
This is Diablo Immortal: With Immortal, Blizzard brings the first new Diablo game that was developed for the mobile market. It is therefore intended to be played on smartphones or tablets.
What to expect in Diablo Immortal
Announcement brought a backlash: As Diablo fans eagerly awaited details about a new game, they hoped for a Diablo 4 announcement. But at BlizzCon 2018, Diablo Immortal was presented instead. Fans were sad, frustrated. A major backlash ensued, people asked Blizzard if they were really serious.
Even the announcement trailers were met with hundreds of thousands of “thumbs down”.
Apparently, no one really wanted Diablo Immortal. We conducted a survey shortly after the announcement in November.
- At that time, 50% of participants clearly stated: No, I will definitely not play Diablo Immortal.
- Only 29% were convinced that they wanted to at least try it out.
This is the new survey result: A few days ago we asked you again if you want to play Diablo Immortal. The survey result shows,
- that about a third of you want to at least try it out
- 16% are even convinced,
- while 9% prefer to play it on PC or console or don’t like it at all.
- 28% of you do not like mobile games at all.
- And the last 5% have not yet decided whether they will play.
