The MMO SciFi shooter Defiance is still alive and receiving new updates. Therefore, a new event is currently online where you face a plague with flamethrowers.

For centuries, humanity has known an effective remedy against all kinds of plagues: fire! And what worked wonderfully in the Middle Ages works just as well in the future of Defiance. In the current ArkFall event “Outbreak,” an epidemic is spreading that unleashes disgusting plague mutants upon us.
To deal with the contaminated minions, Defiance provides us with a bunch of napalm weapons.
You’ll burn everything that even remotely looks like a plague servant until May 22nd. One of the coolest new weapons is the “Calamity Rocket Launcher” from the new weapon manufacturer CDC. It fires several rockets at once, incinerating everything. There’s also the new napalm synergy that deals more damage – including over time.
