In the past, there was an alien vote in GTA Online, where the question was: Purple Aliens or Green Aliens? Now, Rockstar Games is again asking the important questions in life. This time, it’s all about the players’ taste in beverages. By voting and joining a crew, they can position themselves.
In the end, all logged-in players during the event will receive merchandise of the winning drink along with a bonus of 300,000 GTA$.

Players face the dilemma of beverage choice
What kind of event is this? “Brand loyalty is the fever dream of every capitalist – the perfect harmony of supply and demand. But how can one determine the true winner when there are two names on the market for caffeinated drinks claiming the throne?” (rockstargames.com)
With these words, the announcement for the new event in GTA Online begins. Since yesterday, you can decide whether you are Team Sprunk or Team eCola. If you want to participate in the event, make your way to southern San Andreas and vote for your favorite drink.
How can you vote? You have several options for voting. The number of votes is not limited. You can vote in several places by getting and drinking cans of your favorite drink. Here you can find the cans:
- Sprunk or eCola vending machines
- Convenience store
- Other snack supplies in Los Santos and Blaine County
It applies: Each can consumed counts as one vote.
You can find crews of Sprunk and eCola in the Social Club, which you can join as a member. If you are part of the team, you can work on your crew rank. This allows you to receive crew merchandise of the respective brand and attach it to your vehicles and clothing.
Additionally, there are bodysuits in the clothing stores that you can pick up for free. Each bodysuit picked up counts as one vote.
How long does the event last? You have three weeks to set your beverage statement. After September 14, the voting will be evaluated. To find the winner, the number of crew members will be added to the consumed cans and collected bodysuits.
What prizes can be won? After determining the victorious drink brand, all GTA Online players who logged in during the event period will receive the following rewards: A cap, a parachute backpack, and a college jacket from the winning drink, plus 300,000 GTA$.
What events has GTA Online hosted in the past? Such a voting, where players need to position themselves for a specific side, is nothing new in the game. One past event allowed gamers to decide: Do they want to join the green or the purple aliens?
There were already alien costumes given out, where players could run around showing their affiliation.
