Crimson Desert: Game Pass – Is the game included in the subscription?

Crimson Desert will be released for various platforms – including PC and Xbox Series X|S. Players are therefore wondering if the game will also be available on Game Pass.

Many players now rely on Microsoft’s Game Pass when it comes to being able to play exciting titles at release in a subscription and not having to pay the full price. After all, the standard version of Crimson Desert is priced at €69.99, which is why many are also asking whether the game will be included in the Game Pass at launch.

Crimson Desert and Game Pass – What you need to know

Is Crimson Desert coming to Game Pass? No, at launch on March 19, 2026, Crimson Desert will not be part of Game Pass. However, it is likely that the title will be available in the subscription at some point. After all, Crimson Desert has already been confirmed for Microsoft’s “Play Anywhere” support. And after all, Black Desert, the flagship title of developer Pearl Abyss, was also part of Game Pass until August 31, 2023.

However, there are no officially confirmed plans for that. Whether and when the title will actually come to Game Pass is currently unclear. So unfortunately, you will have to pay for the game at launch and purchase it outside of the subscription to be able to play it. If you own multiple devices from the Microsoft family, it can be very worthwhile thanks to “Play Anywhere”.

What does “Play Anywhere” support mean? Play Anywhere means that you only have to buy the game once, and then you can play it on PC, Xbox console, and supported handheld consoles while keeping your progress. All achievements, content, and save data will be seamlessly synchronized across all devices.
