The Twitch streamer summit1g took a look at the new Warzone for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. He died at the beginning of the round, but was able to return via the Gulag. However, he was then defeated by BattleNet.
What happened? The streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar dedicated himself to the new Call of Duty: Warzone, a Battle Royale for Modern Warfare, which was released on March 10.
In the mentioned match, he is killed first and lands in the Gulag along with teammates. From this Gulag, players can fight their way back into the game. After his breakout, he is released back into the world and allowed to parachute again.
But shortly after landing, his game suddenly minimizes. At first, the streamer suspects that his game has crashed. But the real reason was BattleNet, which just at that moment wanted to perform an update.
By the time the game had reopened, summit1g had already been defeated again.
Twitch streamer gets really angry at BattleNet
How does summit1g react? After his death in the game, the streamer unleashes against BattleNet:
Was tabbed out of the game because the program that runs the game decides to let me know that there is an update. Suck my dick, Dude!
Why does it force the game to minimize? I don’t care if there’s an update. Tell me that when I’m not in a game.
Is your program not smart enough to know that I’m in a game that uses the damn application?
His frustration is clearly audible in his statements. But that didn’t stop him from spending many more hours in Warzone. At that point, his livestream had already been going for 2 hours, and he continued for another 13 hours.
Curious situation in the Gulag: Besides the death, the situation in the Gulag was also very curious beforehand. summit1g landed in the arena with a teammate in voice chat.
The Twitch streamer was able to observe the fight between his friend and a stranger from above and give tips that brought his teammate back into the game.
Moreover, there were no opponents left for summit1g, so he was allowed to join back in without a fight at the end of the countdown.
The Twitch streamer is generally known for playing many shooters and sometimes failing in them:
- This happened especially often in Escape from Tarkov.
- But also in CS:GO, there was a fail that even made it into an Easter egg in Borderlands 3.
