What’s the problem? Once you finally sit in the helicopter at the end of the mission, a sense of relaxation often sets in, especially if there hasn’t just been an intense battle – all missions are completed, all keys have been used.
However, you should continue to play with full attention until you’ve actually left the map. Because the windshields of the extraction helicopters are susceptible to bullets:

In a round of DMZ, you should really keep your internal danger radar activated until the very end. Especially during the extraction, many players show no mercy. Only relax when the screen goes black and the rewards start coming in.
If you are in the helicopter and only knocked out and not completely dead, the extraction counts for you.
