How do I get keys? There are basically 2 types of keys. The normal keys to a room or keys with a symbol next to them, which open specific houses.
Especially the normal keys are somewhat more difficult to use because they really only open a very specific door. Whereas for a key to the “police station” it is already quite clear where the journey goes.
In the DMZ, there are 3 ways to obtain keys:
- Random loot drop
- Contract “Eliminate HRZ”
- For 30,000 cash at the buy stations
You cannot influence the loot drop and the buy station. In both cases, you need to be lucky enough to randomly find a key or for the buy stations to have a key available.
The safest way is the contract “Eliminate HRZ”. Here, you will definitely receive a key from the eliminated target person.
What do the keys bring me? The keys open small loot bunkers with cash and equipment. They are also sometimes part of faction missions and must be used to complete certain missions.
The better you know the DMZ map, the more efficiently you can carry out your missions. Keys can help you collect a lot of stuff with relatively little effort and complete a fruitful extraction.
