A recently launched highly noticeable anime bundle in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone allows players to equip their operator with cat ears and striking purple elements. However, the bundle divides the community and evokes many negative emotions.
On August 10, 2022, Sledgehammer Games, the developer of Call of Duty: Vanguard, showcased an anime bundle named “Tracer Pack: Bitrate Banger Reactive Mastercraft Ultra Skin Bundle” that is new in CoD: Vanguard and CoD: Warzone (via Twitter).
The gaudy anime bundle is not well received by everyone. Especially the skin from the bundle is being discussed. In the World War setting of Vanguard, something like this has no place. However, some are excited about it. The majority of players simply find it dreadful.

What are users on reddit saying about the anime bundle? A reddit user started a discussion on reddit titled: “Is this skin awesome or terrible?” (via reddit)
Some users think the skin is great and entertaining:

However, most cannot relate to the new skin at all:

Other users do not understand the excitement about it, as it is not the first crazy skin in CoD: Vanguard. Just think of the dog skin that caused quite a stir.

In addition to the operator skin, the bundle includes matching weapons in shades of purple, violet, and teal with printed anime faces. They are named “Lovedrunk Melody”, “Glitchy Gremlin”, and “Happy Machine”.
Additionally, there is “A”, a charm with the face of an anime girl, a watch with two emblems “Lurking Dead Beats” and “Masked Meow”, and a player card.
