Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are launching with the “Reloaded Update” in Mid-Season 3. Here you will find all the information about the update and the content in a quick overview.

Call of Duty keeps its current titles fresh with regular season updates. Every few weeks new, free content is added to the game and there are often balance adjustments.
Currently, Mid-Season 3 is underway. Highlights include a new 6vs6 map for MW2 and the Ranked mode for Warzone 2 – what else there is to know, we will show you here on MeinMMO.

CoD: Mid-Season 3 – Update, Download, Preload
When does the update come? The update is online.
How large will the update be? The download is around 9 GB on PS5 and is expected to be similar on other platforms.
What is included in the update? A new season brings a challenge event for MW2 and Warzone 2, allowing you to earn cosmetics – “Trophy Hunt”. Additionally, there are 3 new weapons:
- FTAC Siege (Handgun)
- GS Magna (Handgun)
- Throwing Star (Equipment)

CoD MW2: Mid-Season 3 – Content
What is coming for CoD MW2? A new 6vs6 map, a few new modes, and PvE content are planned:
- Alboran Hatchery 6vs6
- A medium-sized map known from the sniper mission in the campaign
- Raid – Episode 3
- New raid – after completing it you will receive “Alex” as an operator
- Special Ops Mission: Defender
- Co-op defense mission
- New modes
- Giant Infection: The crazy infection mode on the large battle maps
- 3vs3 Faceoff: Shootouts with 6 instead of 4 players

What is coming for Warzone 2? The focus of Mid-Season 3 in Warzone is the new ranked mode:
- Ranked mode (Beta)
- Strict, skill-based matchmaking, own rules, rewards, and ranking systems
- New gameplay elements
- Perk packs: Lootable perks
- Mobile buy station: A portable vendor
- Koschei Complex: New DMZ area, lots of darkness
