In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the Battle Royale spin-off Warzone, a new playlist update has gone live. This immediately attracts two of the players’ favorite modes.
What’s new: As Infinity Ward announced on Twitter, the playlist in both games will be thoroughly shuffled again. However, the update currently only pertains to the playlist, with no further patch notes available at this time.
Changes in Warzone: In Warzone, two new modes are landing in the playlist. The playlist now looks like this:
- Battle Royale: Solo / Duo / Trio / Quad
- Zombie Royale Trio: Instead of the Gulag, there is a zombification
- Blood Money Quads: Plunder version where kills give more cash
- Warzone Rumble: Large team deathmatch on the BR map
In multiplayer for Modern Warfare, however, there are a bit more changes. You will now find the following modes:
- Tournament: 2vs2 gunfights in knockout tournament
- Ground War: The big mode in the standard version
- Blueprint – Custom Gunfight: 3vs3 fights with blueprint weapons
- “Which objective?”: Objective modes where you also collect objective points with kills
- Shipment 24/7
- Shoot House 24/7
The modes Onslaughter and Gunfight are therefore being removed. Especially the addition of the modes Shipment 24/7 and Shoot House 24/7 will likely please many fans.
Update brings Shipment and Shoot House at the same time
This is what the modes are about: Recently, the modes were present in the form of “Shoot the Ship”, now they are available in separate 24/7 form. Both modes are very popular with fans and have almost traditionally been requested in the comments of playlist updates. This week, the request was fulfilled.
Shipment is a very small and fast map that stands for plenty of action. You don’t have to search long, but are almost constantly in combat. It is also great for gaining a lot of experience points.
Shoot House is also a rather small map, but it is a bit more relaxed than Shipment. Both maps are a good choice if you are into rapid continuous fire.
Meanwhile, preparations are advancing steadily towards the new CoD Cold War, which will be released on November 13. MeinMMO shooter expert Sven Galitzki is more uncertain than ever regarding the purchase of Cold War. “I’m more unsure than ever with Call of Duty.”
