The patch notes for update 1.14 for Season 2 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are ready. We will show you the most important buffs and nerfs for weapons and equipment and what else has changed in the game with the new season.
What kind of update is this? On the evening of February 11, 2020 the second season started in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. At the start, players had to get everything out of their internet connection, as the update includes, depending on the platform, a heavy 68-gigabyte download.
Of course, with such a large amount of data, quite a few things were changed. The developers show what is new in the patch notes. We want to show you the most important buffs and nerfs for the Season 2 patch in CoD: MW here so that you can get ahead in multiplayer and take advantage of the changes.

Weapon changes
Three weapons have been adjusted in patch 1.14. These are Crossbow, SA87, and the RAM-7. At the end of January, there was already a strong nerf for the top weapons MP5 and M4.
Crossbow: Here there were some fixes. Kills should now be counted correctly when you unlock the crossbow. Additionally, the explosive-Fury ammo should now kill Juggernauts with one hit as intended.
Also, the reload time has been adjusted, but only slightly. The developers are still working on it and will bring further changes.
SA87: The recoil has been adjusted and reduced. Additionally, the weapon now deals more damage.
RAM-7: The improved magazines now hold 50 instead of just 45 rounds.
Other important changes – exploit fixes and quality of life
In addition to these buffs and nerfs, update 1.14 brought important changes that directly affect your gameplay.
Ground War: Several exploits have been fixed. Exactly what those are is not clear. However, there have been some issues lately that are hopefully resolved now.
Bug fixes:
- Players can no longer shoot allies when they take a weapons drop
- The platinum and Damascus camos should no longer blind you so severely in the sunlight
- You should now be able to open the barracks, weapon, and operator tabs after a match without problems
- A bug has been fixed where players received infinite weapon drops when they canceled killstreaks.
- A bug has been fixed where objectives did not provide progress for field upgrades
Other adjustments:
- The copy loadout feature has been disabled
