Call of Duty: Modern Warfare received another update on the evening of December 11 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Included were numerous bug fixes. We reveal what the patch notes say and what exactly has changed.
What is the new update about? Even after the start of Season 1, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare continues to be actively supplied with new patches.
After this week’s update already brought new modes like the popular Infected into the game, further changes to Modern Warfare came on December 11.
The new patch is an in-game update that is automatically installed when logging into the game, unless you cancel it. It is not a new major title update.
What is included in the new CoD Modern Warfare update from December 11?
There were no major changes or new content with the new Call of Duty update. The patch focuses entirely on bug fixes.

- A problem has been fixed where the R9-0 Smoothebore (weapon from the blueprint) was not displayed correctly in the game
- A problem has been fixed where the FAL Smooth Dominator (weapon from the blueprint) was not displayed correctly in the game
- A problem has been fixed where the MP5 Heat Cycle (weapon from the blueprint) was not displayed correctly in the game
- A problem has been fixed where equipping the M91 “Old Wounds” (weapon from the blueprint) could cause an error that threw players out of the menu
- The descriptions for the operator challenges have been updated. It now shows that a specific operator must be selected to complete the respective challenge
- If you reached a new rank mid-match and fulfilled the criteria to complete a challenge that was just unlocked, the progress was not displayed until the next match in the user interface. This should now be improved through some backend changes
- Requirement 2 for Mara’s operator mission has been fixed where a placeholder name “Desert Work” was displayed for the reward.
- A problem has been fixed where Wyatt’s business card appeared with the wrong rarity
- A problem has been fixed where the rockets of the Cluster Strike killstreak could get stuck on surfaces without detonating and could play an audio loop for the rest of the match
- Exploits in SpecOps: Survival have been fixed
