If you pre-ordered CoD: Modern Warfare 2, you will gain access to the campaign before any other players. However, this is not without its challenges, as one mission leaves many players struggling. We will show you some tips on how to complete the mission “Alone” more easily.
What happens in the mission “Alone”? The mission “Alone” is the 13th campaign mission in the story of Modern Warfare 2. Graves and Shepherd turn against Soap, Ghost, and Vargas. After a verbal confrontation, your weapons go off, and you realize you have been betrayed. Soap is wounded in this gunfight but manages to escape with Ghost.
As wounded Soap, you now must navigate through the soldier-scarred streets of Las Almas alive, without being seen and killed by the Shadow Company. It is a dangerous and, above all, difficult mission, as any wrong move could mean death for you. Therefore, we will show you tips on how to get through this mission more easily.

This is how you complete the mission “Alone”
How does this mission differ from others? The mission “Alone” is not like any other mission in CoD. You are wounded, unarmed, and are being hunted by evil soldiers.
For once, finesse and intuition are required, rather than good marksmanship. If you are careful and tactical, you will survive. However, if you become reckless, you will die faster than you can blink. Now, let’s get to the tips.

Use your crafted tools
The soldiers of the Shadow Company are tough and deadly but also vulnerable to some tricks that Soap can craft. With the right combination of components, you can create mines, smoke bombs, and breaching tools. These not only make your journey to Ghost easier but also make you more threatening. If you combine these items with a well-timed distraction, you can traverse Las Almas faster and more easily.
Be creative and tactical
The darkness is your friend. Therefore, try to sneak constantly to avoid unnecessary attention and noises. Additionally, many houses are not locked. You are not forced to use the unprotected streets for your maneuvers.
Open a door and swing from house to house. Along the way, you can also find important items and materials in houses that you can use to craft your goodies.
Look for supply crates
Across the map, crates from the Shadow Company are placed. These can be opened and contain explosives that you can use to create mines. Additionally, they contain adrenaline injections that heal you. Soap will no longer have to limp, and you will regain your normal movement speed.
Many of these crates are, however, locked and require a breaching tool. So make sure you always have something with you to open such a crate.

Use a gun
If all else fails, you can kill a soldier with a mine and take his weapon. With this, you can easily eliminate enemies in front of you from a distance. However, be cautious. These pistols do not have silencers and will quickly draw attention to you. In that case, either use your knife or try to sneak past.
For trophy hunters: The mission “Alone” also has a trophy called “Unarmed.” As the name suggests, you may only complete the mission without firing a single shot from your weapon.
If you have done so, you need to restart the mission and try to navigate through the map like an assassin. However, you may still use knives and bombs to eliminate your enemies.
