What is Undead Siege? The successful mobile spin-off of Call of Duty already had zombie modes, of course. But now a completely new mode is coming. It’s called Undead Siege and takes place on a much larger map, namely that of the battle royale mode.
So you don’t get a small area like in the Mauer der Toten from the “big” CoD, but a really big map where countless undead will appear. The goal is to survive for five nights, during which increasingly larger and more dangerous hordes of zombies will attack your positions.
The contents of Undead Siege
What are the features? As usual in battle royale, you parachute into the combat area and have your loadout with you. But to fend off the waves of the undead, you need better equipment that you frantically gather.
To have a chance, you must collect supplies and build a fortified base with towers and other defensive elements. Since the zombies get even more dangerous each night, you need to continuously expand and improve your base. Only then can you survive the mode.
How the fans are reacting: Under the teaser tweet from Activision, most players are excited and looking forward to the new mode. They also hope that the mode remains permanent in the game and that they can hunt zombies indefinitely.
When will the new mode be released? The developers have not given a specific date yet. However, since the current Season 5 in CoD Mobile ends soon on July 29, 2021, it is likely that Undead Siege will start in Season 6.
