The development team behind the MMORPG Tarisland keeps its promise and lifts the gender lock. For the first time, we get a glimpse of the female Paladin, which has only existed as a male variant until now.
What does the female Paladin look like? The female Paladin is designed similarly to the male Paladin. She has light blonde, short hair and a blue-brown armor with silver and gold elements.
On X.com (formerly Twitter), the development team shares an initial image of the female Paladin. In the accompanying comments, the new class is well received. Many users are excited about the new design and hope that the other classes will be revised as well:
However, there may be some changes before the final release. According to the post, the development team is still actively working on the female Paladin. But the basic idea is likely to become clear through the image.

What other classes will follow? After the second closed beta, Tencent listened to player feedback and promised that it would lift the gender lock for all classes. Thus, all classes will be able to be played as a female and male variant.
This means that the following classes will also receive a counterpart of the opposite gender:
- Warrior
- Mage
- Teacher
- Shadow
- Ranger
- Poet
- Fighter
However, the process would take a lot of time. Therefore, it may still take some time before the development team can show new images. They ask the players for a little patience, as all animations for the other gender would need to be adjusted.
What else is new in Tarisland? In a blog post, Tencent revealed something about the lore of Tarisland. The eponymous planet is said to have formed from a big bang. Later, life developed, leading to the formation of a civilization. This was accompanied by a conflict.
The following creatures are in conflict:
- Nihilox
- Erebos
- Fatuina
They had different ideas about the development of the planet. Fatuina wanted to help in the development of the planet, while the other two wanted to destroy all life. To assist the civilization, Fatuina distributed clues on the planet in the form of stone fragments. They are meant to help uncover the great secret to save the planet.
