Rockstar has announced cash gifts and gold for players of the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2. After the gold has already been distributed, the outlaws in Red Dead Online will now also receive cash gifts.
Rockstar thanks players for their support during the beta of Red Dead Online and is distributing gifts. While the promised gold bars have already been distributed to their new owners, there will now also be cash.
What is it about? Rockstar had already announced that some gold bars would be distributed among the players of Red Dead Online. 15 gold bars were credited to the outlaws who have participated in the beta of the online mode so far.

Furthermore, additional cash gifts for players who pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption 2 or purchased the Special or Ultimate Edition of the game have been announced. The cash gifts are now also in the rollout and will be credited to players at their next login to Red Dead Online.
How much money is there? According to a post on Reddit, it seems that some players have already received their cash gifts. Players report that buyers of the Ultimate Edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 have been credited a whopping $1,000 for the online mode. Owners of the Special Edition reportedly received $100. How much cash pre-orderers will receive is still unknown.
How do I receive the money? Players report that the money was credited to them as soon as they logged into Red Dead Online. If you are currently playing and have not yet received the dollars, try completely quitting the game and restarting it.
If you still have not received any money, just wait a few more days. As Rockstar stated, the cash gift should be distributed by December 24 at the latest.
