Did you know that certain outfits in GTA Online give you advantages while swimming, flying, driving, and during heists? A player from the community shared this information and many were surprised.
GTA Online was released in 2013. Now, nearly 10 years later, players are still discovering new details that have been in the game for a long time.
What are these boosts? When your character wears certain outfits in the game, you enhance your gameplay experience. For instance, as a pilot, you can easily read the speed and altitude of your airplane with an extra display. But there are three more cases.
“I’ve been playing the game for 5 years and didn’t know this”
This is how it works: On reddit, user Ronnymalony shows four outfits that give you boosts in GTA Online (via reddit.com). He also explains in a graphic how the boosts affect your game.
Here we show you the contents of the graphic and the additions made by other players in the comments on reddit.
- Pilot Suit: Displays a real-time readout of altitude and speed of your aircraft in first-person view. (Presumably, the pilot helmet available for free in the interaction menu is sufficient)
- Diving Suit: Provides unlimited air underwater and also comes with an underwater flashlight. Additionally, you swim significantly faster with the suit.
- Biker Suit: In case of a fatal crash, you only lose 5% of your health with the biker suit. The chance of this boost activating is 90%.
- Heavy Outfit: Gives you more health points in heists. However, you move slower. (Only works in the initial heists from Fleeca Heist to the Pacific Heist)
