In 2011, Chris Evans first slipped into the role of Captain America in the Marvel films. In an interview, the actor now says he wants to spend less time in this industry. He would much rather chill and do pottery.
In an interview with GQ magazine, Chris Evans talks about his plans after ‘Captain America’. The 42-year-old actor does not see a return to the Marvel universe in the near future. Although he loves acting, he could also do just fine without it, says Chris Evans. And besides, he then has time for his other interests.

Smoking and pottery instead of acting
These are his plans: Chris Evans generally wants to work less and hopes that he will act a bit less. He has given the industry 20 years of his life and does not want to take up too much space in it.
This is what he says in the interview with GQ:
I like analog things. I would just like to smoke a joint, put on some music, and then do some pottery. You know what I mean? What Seth Rogen also does. That’s good for a man. You just go into your workshop and create something. And it’s satisfying, simple, and everyday.

He is now considering longer before he agrees to new projects. He weighs the circumstances and then decides. It also depends on the season in which shooting will take place; he does not want to miss the autumn. ‘You only experience a limited number of those in life.’
Initially, Chris Evans even declined the role of Captain America several times, but was then convinced:
Will there be a return to Marvel? When asked if there would be a return to the Marvel universe, Chris Evans says he would “never say never”; it was a wonderful experience. He is proud of it and sometimes cannot believe that it happened.
However, there will be no comeback in the near future. He wants to devote himself to his other interests. His productivity does not always relate to acting. His interests are diverse.
